Learn the meanings of the Qurʾān
“A Muslim should strive to learn the meanings of the Noble Qurʾān so that the Qurʾān benefits him, and so that he follows the example of the righteous predecessors, who would not move on to the next ten āyāt until they had studied those āyāt, the knowledge contained in them, and acted according to that knowledge.
It would be excellent if the students of knowledge, whenever the opportunity arises and they gather with ordinary people — those who are not students of knowledge — would make an effort to explain to them the meaning of an āyah, especially those āyāt that are often recited by common people, such as Sūrat al-Fātiḥah.”
