Do you like coffee?

Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq al-Badr (حَفِظَهُ اللهُ) quoted these light-hearted lines by Shaykh Mullā ʿImrān ibn ʿAlī Āl Riḍwān (رَحِمَهُ اللهُ):

عَلَيْكَ بِشُرْبِ الْبُنِّ فِي كُلِّ لَحْظَةٍ
فَإِنَّ بِهَا يَا صَاحِ خَمْسُ فَوَائِدِ
نَشَاطٌ وَهَضْمٌ ثُمَّ قَطْعُ بَلَاغِمٍ
وَنُورٌ لِعَيْنٍ ثُمَّ قُوتٌ لِعَابِدِ

Drink coffee at every moment,
for it has, my friend, five benefits:
energy, digestion, clearing phlegm,
brightness for the eye, and nourishment for a worshipper.
