مَنْ شَبَّ عَلَى شَيْءٍ شَابَ عَلَيْهِ

شَبَّ — to grow up, mature

شَابَ — to become grey-haired

“Whoever grows up upon something will grow old upon it.”

Literally: become grey- haired on it
